Schedule of Events

Entertainment kicks off in the afternoon on July 3 with a Car Cruise, Kiddie Parade, and music in the bandshell. On the Fourth of July, festivities begin with the Ride-Run around the lake, followed by the Big Parade starting at 10:30 a.m. along Lakeshore Drive. After the parade, the area’s local nonprofit agencies sell a variety of tasty food from around the world, joined by vendors, artists, and entertainment in the parks. The public also enjoys paying tribute to our nation at the Patriotic Ceremony and the closing celebration with fireworks over the lake at dusk.
